This B-Town Hottie CONFESSES That She Has NO GUTS To Do A Niche Film

We all know Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra’s A Gentleman could not set the cash registers ringing and had a very disastrous outing at the box-office. Now, in an interview with a leading daily, Jacqueline Fernandez candidly confessed that she does not have the guts to do a niche film.

“I do believe actors trying out niche films, is also good, whether they work or not. I’ve never had the guts to do a niche film. Not yet! I’m slowly gaining films, after having done so many films,” she said.

Citing reasons for not choosing niche films, Jacqueline said, “Because I’m not from the country and I’m not too good with the language, that’s been my biggest drawback. I’m very careful to be part of films where I know I’ll get cushioning and padding. Where I’ll get support. It’s very daunting to do something niche and carry an entire film on your shoulder. Now, because I’ve been part of so many films — some of them that have done really well — I have been able to critique myself, follow the patterns and my techniques and understand where I can improve.”

Recently, the actress was spotted at Sonam Kapoor’s Diwali bash where she was seen bonding with Alia Bhatt. The Highway actress was seen giving a peck to Jacqueline on her cheek. The latter posted the cute picture on her Instagram account with the caption, “All about the girlies!! (sic).” Post which, Jacqueline also started following Alia on her Instagram account. Just two days after patching-up with Sidharth Malhotra, Alia and Jacqueline’s bonding was rather interesting to see.

For those who have come in late, Jacqueline Fernandez was said to be the reason for the break-up between Alia and Sidharth. There were reports of Alia and Jacqueline not sharing a cordial relationship. It was said that Jacqueline even 'unfollowed' Alia on Instagram.
